The Studio
We build kitchens that improve a home,
not just decorate it.
A small remote-first design studio. Custom kitchens for clients who care about how their home actually works. Drawings, samples, site visits — slow when it has to be, fast when it doesn’t.
What we believe
Quiet, considered, built once.
Slow is smooth.
We don’t race kitchens out the door. Every project gets the time it needs at the drawing, sample, and site stages. Mistakes caught early cost nothing; the same mistake in installed cabinetry is irreversible.
Craft over content.
Our reference is the work, not the moodboard. Photos help, but we look at how the carcass is engineered, how the drawer-runner closes, how the apron handles a wet sponge over a decade.
Async by default.
Most of the work happens in Figma, Notion, and shared drives. We meet live when a call is the lowest-friction way to make a decision — not because it’s on a calendar.
Hire to keep.
We grow slowly because we want to work with you for years, not quarters. Every offer is sized so we can afford to invest in the person — training, tools, a real seat at the table.
How we work
A few specifics, no platitudes.
Remote-first, Pakistan-based.
Team is currently across Karachi and beyond. Time-zone tolerance is built in; we don’t expect anyone to keep European or US hours. Hiring outside Pakistan is open in principle — write to us.
Outcomes, not hours.
No timesheets. We measure: what shipped, how well, how it handled the back-and-forth of a real project. The work shows.
Quarterly check-ins.
Lightweight 1:1s, written notes, no theater. Compensation reviewed annually with a written rationale either way.
Tools we trust.
Figma for drawings, Notion for projects, our internal portal for everything else. We add tools when they earn it; we drop tools when they don’t.
We’d rather under-hire than make a wrong hire.
If the work above sounds like a place you’d want to spend a few years — and you have a portfolio or a record of shipped work — we’d love to hear from you.
